Our client, an Australia based gold development company who hosts a portfolio of assets in the Goldfields region is seeking an Underground Geologist for a short term contract.
Requirements:
Relevant Tertiary Qualifications; Knowledge of mapping, structural geology, drilling and sampling techniques; Must be able to work in a fast paced environment; Competent using software such as Leapfrog Valid C Class license. Position Duties:
Develop, implement and monitor various underground geology procedures - face mapping and sampling, wall mapping, logging;
Execute digital face/wall mapping program;
Provide ore drive directions to optimise orebody position for stoping;
Ensure the provision of quality logging, sampling and QAQC practices from resource definition and grade control;
