Small Commercial, Mortgage Officer

About the Role

We are looking for a Mortgage Officer, Small Commercial Underwriting to assist commercial originations with the completion of commercial mortgage files in accordance with Company policies and guidelines. The position will drive quality, ensuring accuracy and efficiency while meeting required service levels.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and verify mortgage documentation and applications for completeness, accuracy, suitability, and risk; ensure compliance with Home Trust Company underwriting policies, procedures, and guidelines per delegated authority matrices.
• Adhere to compliance obligations, including Privacy, Anti‑Money Laundering/Anti‑Terrorist Financing, and internal Anti‑Fraud Policy requirements; file Unusual Transaction Reports as required.
• Maintain consistent, objective, and sound risk assessments in a high‑volume, service‑oriented environment.
