Pay Rate: £38 per hour

Our client is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their Referral & Assessment Team in Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic, supportive environment where your expertise truly matters.


What will your responsibilities be?


In this role, you will:

  • Receive and screen referrals from professionals, families, or the public.

  • Conduct initial assessments to determine risk levels and service eligibility.

  • Make decisions on whether cases require further intervention under Section 17 (Child in Need) or Section 47 (Child Protection).

  • Undertake home visits and interviews with children and families.

  • Liaise with police, schools, health services, and other agencies to gather information.
