Social Worker Supervisor (Adoption Services)

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Social Worker Supervisor with proven adoption services experience to provide professional oversight, mentorship, and quality assurance within a child protection and adoption programme. This role is ideal for a SACSSP-registered Social Worker with strong leadership skills, sound ethical judgement, and a deep understanding of adoption legislation, permanency planning, and best-interest-of-the-child principles. Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative supervision to social workers delivering adoption and child protection services.
• Ensure compliance with Children’s Act (38 of 2005), adoption regulations, and DSD Norms and Standards.
• Review, guide, and sign off on adoption assessments, statutory reports, and court documentation.
