Solar Design Engineer — Drone Surveys & Electrical Design

Responsibilities

• Site Survey using Drone
  • Pilot a drone following a specific flight plan.
  • Perform equipment testing, troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Conduct pre-flight, during flight and post-flight safety checks and procedure.
  • Analyze drone footage to obtain useful dataset.
  • Communicate with DroneDeploy team on product improvement and overall optimization.
• Perform electrical calculations associated with the design of DC, AC, MV and HV electrical systems.
• Manage projects through design and construction, including RFI response, equipment submittal reviews and meetings.
• Coordinate with Site Assessors, Project Management and Sales teams to complete designs meeting the customer’s expectations with strict deadlines.
• Manage client relationships and project portfolios.
• Communicate with local utilities to ensure designs meet all requirements for interconnection and operation. ...
