Job Description
The University of South Wales seeks a Solicitor (Employment and Litigation) to join the University Secretary’s Office as part of the legal services unit.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert employment law advice to People and Organisational Development covering approximately 2,000 staff, including redundancy, restructuring, tribunals, terminations and TUPE agreements.
- Manage the instruction of external lawyers as needed.
- Develop strong relationships with university stakeholders and work directly with the General Counsel.
- Provide legal advice and support on student matters where issues raise legal, procedural, equality or regulatory questions.
