Opportunity Description

You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Sommelier is responsible for overseeing the wine operation in Japanese Restaurant, acting as both the business leader and marketing strategist, ensuring the outlet runs smoothly, adheres to hotel standards, and achieves financial success. Additionally, the Sommelier assists with the preparation and regular update of the Food and Beverage Departmental Budget, working closely with the Restaurant Manager - Japanese Restaurant and Director of Food & Beverage Operations to ensure targets are met and costs are effectively controlled.


• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hotel or Tourism Management, Certified Wine Professional (CWP), Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW), Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET), Court of aster Sommeliers (CMS) or relevant certifications.
