The perfect candidate shall ensure the effective performance of: inter-Kitchen communication meetings, technical knowledge and job skills training for all food procedures, create enthusiasm for training and development amongst his subordinates, motivate and lead by example, and communicate food trends and market needs based on sanitation laws and safety regulations.

Key Accountabilities

  • Assists in other food production areas as and when assigned
  • Assists Head Pastry Chef in creating and developing new dishes and recipes by keeping up with the latest market trends
  • Keeps the Head Pastry Chef informed about all aspects of assigned section, including equipment, working environment, staff problems and department relations
