Recruiting for a dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join the team of a welcoming Primary School in Romford working with KS1/KS2 children.

For the role you will be supporting children with ASD, and we are looking for someone who brings patience, creativity and genuine enthusiasm to the role.

September 2026 - Monday to Friday, 8.30am 3.30pm (Term time only)

Special Need Teaching Assistant Responsibilities

• Supporting KS1/KS2 children.
• Using aproactive, fun and engaging a pproach to learning.
• Being firm but fair, helping the children understand routines and expectations.
• Assisting with sensory activities, regulation strategies and learning tasks.
• Delivering structured interventions such as Lego Therapy.
• Working closely with teachers and SENCO.
• Helping children build confidence, independence and communication skills.
