REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12


• National Diploma in Logistics Management or equivalent


• 7 years of experience in a specialist buyer/ senior buyer/ import specialist buyer role


• 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in procurement roles 


• Inco terms


• Warehousing and storage (receipts and FIFO standards)


• Transportation regulations and procedures


• APO/ SAP system


• Knowledge of sourcing new suppliers and products 


• Knowledge of market research and trend analysis


• Costing and estimating acumen
