Specialist Endodontist

An Endodontist is a dental specialist focused on diagnosing and treating issues related to the interior of the tooth particularly the dental pulp and root canals. This role requires advanced knowledge of endodontic procedures excellent manual dexterity and a high level of attention to detail. The Endodontist works closely with general dentists referring patients for specialised care.

• Perform root canal treatments to remove infected or inflamed pulp.
• Conduct retreatment of previously failed root canal therapies.
• Address dental trauma including fractures and dislodged teeth.
• Carry out complex endodontic surgeries such as apicoectomy (removal of the tip of the tooths root).
• Use advanced technologies such as digital imaging and operating microscopes to perform precise and minimally invasive procedures.
