Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist

Our world class Tier I Automotive supplier client has an immediate need to fill a position of Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist position at their plant located about 20 miles east of Asheville, NC. The candidate must have experience in the area of ISO 14001/45001.

A partial list of job duties/responsibilities include the following:

• Administers the comprehensive environmental, safety and health program in a 3-shift, unionized manufacturing facility to include: Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazard Communication, Hearing Conservation, Lockout, PPE, Contractor Communication, Hazard Analysis, Respiratory Protection, Safety Device Verification, Manufacturing Readiness, Fall Protection, Confined Space, Powered Industrial Vehicles, and Ergonomics
• Develops and delivers training to hourly workforce and management personnel
