Specialist Nurse for Parkinsons Disease

We are looking for a dynamic, motivated and forward‑thinking Registered Nurse who demonstrates a passion for supporting patients living with Parkinson’s, their families and carers.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Nurse to play a key role in delivering first rate care in the community setting.

The post holder will work as part of a NeuroSpecialist Team and the wider multidisciplinary team (MDT), managing a Parkinson’s caseload.

The post holder will need to have good organisational skills, with experience of complex decision making and excellent communication skills, ensuring that patients with Parkinson’s Disease receive optimal care and live well with their condition.

They will need to hold an independent prescribing qualification or be willing to undertake this as an essential part of this role.

A full UK driving licence and access to a car are also essential, as this role involves community based working.
