Specialist Radiopharmacy Technician

Role Overview

Radiopharmacy Technologist – St Bartholomew’s Hospital, Barts Health Trust. Responsible for aseptic preparation of radiopharmaceuticals, batch manufacture, clinical trials, quality control, and maintaining the supply chain to customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals aseptically and label blood cell radioisotopes.
• Manufacture batches for diagnostic imaging, clinical trials and quality control.
• Maintain GMP compliance and other relevant regulations.
• Work effectively in a multidisciplinary team with scientists, pharmacy technicians, imaging technologists, physicists and clinicians.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality production of radiopharmaceuticals.
• Maintain the supply chain to customers.
