Specialty Doctor – Mental Health (Grade NHS Medical & Dental: Specialist Grade, Contract Permanent, Full time – 10 sessions per week).
Site: Tameside General Hospital – Mental Health (Buckton / Etherow Building), Ashton-under-Lyne.
Salary: £104,401 – £115,341 per annum (pro‑rata).

Responsibilities
The post is to provide consistent and experienced medical support to the inpatient wards. Duties include assessing patients admitted to the inpatient ward and initiating treatment where appropriate. The appointed doctor is expected to join the ward rounds, conduct physical health examinations, review inpatients, monitor treatment plans as outlined by the MDT, and report to the ward consultant.
