Speciality Doctor posts involve providing Anaesthetic Services for routine and emergency surgical, orthopaedic, urological, gynaecological, ENT and Ophthalmology lists, as well as to the Accident and Emergency Department, CriticalCare Unit, Delivery Suite and Maternity unit, as well as the Acute and Chronic Pain Service.
The successful candidate will need at least 2 years experience of anaesthesia and have passed basic competencies including for Obstetrics.
Involvement may also be required in the initial resuscitation and stabilisation of the critically ill child.
