About the Role:
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) plays a critical role in supporting the communication development and overall educational success of students with autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities within a specialized, student-centered school setting. This position involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, voice, fluency, social communication, and functional communication challenges that may impact students' academic performance, independence, and social interactions. The SLP collaborates closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique developmental profile and communication needs.
