Speech Language Therapist (Cleft Palate Team)

Overview

Location: Hutt Hospital. Contract: Permanent, Part Time (0.5 FTE / 20 hours per week). Salary

MECA Step 3-8 or $88,627 - $110,210 (pro rata).

Responsibilities

• Independent management of own speech caseload, including outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Apply evidence‑based knowledge, skills and clinical reasoning for both speech and dysphagia needs when providing specialist care.
• Maintain liaison with key stakeholders in the patient’s environment.
• Coordinate, facilitate and model high‑quality interprofessional practice.
