Qualifications
Required
- Valid N.Y.S. teaching certificate in the Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicapped / Speech and Language Disabilities area
Desired
- Licensed Speech‑Language Pathologist in New York State (strongly preferred).
- Strong diagnostic abilities to assess individual students' communication skills and monitor progress using a variety of assessment tools.
- Desire and knowledge to balance students’ social/emotional and academic/intellectual needs.
