Speech Teacher -Substitute

The West Seneca Central School District is currently seeking a substitute for a Speech Teacher at the elementary school level. This will be a full-time, temporary appointment beginning immediately through a date to be determined, for an individual who holds certification in the Speech tenure area.

This position could extend to a long-term substitute appointment with salary and benefits paid according to the West Seneca Teacher's Association's collective bargaining agreement, commensurate and prorated to the appointment time frame.

Roles:


+ Speech teacher working across all levels - K through 5, ensuring educational relevance in general education and special education classrooms

+ Providing Speech Language therapy to students

+ Serving a wide range of disorders (speech sound disorders, language, fluency)

+ Highlighting language/literacy and culturally competent services.
