Sr. Accountant

Description We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to join a finance team in Massachusetts in a contract capacity with the potential for a permanent role. This role supports core accounting operations, helps keep financial records accurate and timely, and contributes to reporting, budgeting, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate brings strong general ledger expertise, a solid background in month-end close, and the ability to work across multiple accounting functions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee sales and use tax reporting activities, ensuring filings are prepared accurately and submitted on schedule.
• Prepare recurring cash position and disbursement summaries to support visibility into weekly liquidity needs.
• Complete monthly bank account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to maintain reliable financial records.
