Sr. Accountant

Description We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in San Francisco, California. This is a long-term contract position within the investment management industry, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fund accounting, tax, or partnership accounting, and a demonstrated interest in process improvement and automation.

Responsibilities:
• Review the work of fund administrators, including investor allocations, supporting schedules, and financial packages, while resolving any discrepancies.
• Reconcile cash balances, positions, profit and loss statements, and broker statements to ensure accuracy.
• Manage accounting for the management company, including expense allocations and intercompany transactions.
