Sr. Automation Technician

Job Summary:

The SW North America’s Automation Technician is responsible for completing high integrity builds of Automation Systems. The Automation Technician will layout and install mechanical and electrical systems comprised of beams, gantries, robots, electrical cabinets, I/O blocks, switches, wiring, pneumatics and much more according to assembly prints and wiring diagrams.

The Automation Technician performs a variety of duties, including, but not limited to:

Responsibilities:

· Primarily install and tear down machine tools and automation systems including:

- Inspect automation and system parts as they arrive prior to starting the job

- Laying out the placement of the completion automation cell

- Placing and leveling automation gantries

- Wiring of electrical cabinet and all electrical equipment designed for the automation cell
