Sr. Billing Accountant

**Description:** This position is responsible for leading, training and assisting ~8 billing analysts supporting the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Controls (1LMX) ledger with additional support in other areas as required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Lead and drive responsible billers to achieve accurate and timely internal and external customer billing
-Reconcile various accounts and invoice discrepancies as required
-Independently analyze and coordinate team efforts to proactively identify billing opportunities
-Lead and implement process improvements for 1LMX billing related procedures
-Maintain and update billing policies and procedures for the responsible team, department and organization
-Work in collaboration with collection and cash application groups to resolve and prevent any issues related to cash activities
