Sr. CAD/BIM Bridge Designer

Job Description
A leading engineering consulting client of Insight Global is looking to add a Bridge CAD Designer to their growing transportation team. Supporting bridge projects across the country, this individual will work hand in hand with a team of designers, engineers and project managers to ensure safe and accurate completion of projects for a variety of transportation agencies. Joining a growing team of 70+ individuals, you will play a part in modernizing aging infrastructure as well as developing solutions for the next generation of transportation. Responsibilities include:
• 2D bridge plan emphasis in MicroStation with some 3D.
 • Mainly dealing with abutments (footing layout and dimensions, stem walls, wingwalls, backwall details) and piers (columns, walls, pile caps, reinforcing layouts).
• Assist in the development of the discipline model, with direction from the Digital Design or Engineering staff
