Sr Manager Safety

**POSITION SUMMARY:**

+ Coaches and develops a team of professionals to assist in their development and attainment of necessary skills to lift performance. Monitors staff performance and drives performance improvement initiatives and ensures that service levels meet or exceed agreed upon standards.
+ Responsible for the development and implementation of Company safety policies, standards, and procedures in partnership with Safety leadership. Oversees company participation in OSHA programs including Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP) Star and Safety & Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP).
+ Develops on-going positive relationships with Corporate, Area, and Business Units to foster a durable culture and commitment to safety and compliance.
+ Develops and delivers effective communication strategies related to health and safety programs.
