This position directly supervises Technical / Business Support and/or Production / Maintenance employees in Manufacturing Engineering. Plans and sets day-to-day operational objectives, and develops recommendations regarding specification requirements, improving products, and reducing costs.
Role Responsibilities
Instructs, and checks, under general direction, the work of other manufacturing engineers to ensure that quality and manufacturing standards are met.
Identifies opportunities to improve products or reduce costs using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment, assembly methods, quality control standards, or product design, materials and parts to optimize productivity and ensure optimal use of resources.
