Sr Mechanical Engineer- PEWe need a registered Senior Mechanical Engineer for our Tucson, AZ office with 10 to 15 years of experience for a leadership role. Will lead and mentor junior team members. Reporting to General Manager.Core competencies required are development of design criteria, mass and energy balances, mechanical flow diagrams, P & IDs and equipment specifications. The successful candidate will be experienced in equipment layout, piping design, Background in minerals, cement, lime and similar industry projects required. Processing, wet and dry grinding systems, and knowledge of slurry handling systems a plus.Senior Mechanical Engineer Primary Responsibilities:

Sizing and preparation of specifications for mechanical equipment and systems.

Design for materials handling, conveyor systems, crushing and screening system, dust collection, control systems, chute, duct, piping systems and equipment layouts in a heavy industrial environment.
