Position Summary
To provide technical support, enhancement, and new applications for existing products and to develop new products; may also serve role as group leader for new product development or current product improvement projects.
Primary Duties
+ Handles chemicals and liquid preparations common in microbiology laboratory setting.
+ Prepares protocols and summary reports.
+ Handles biological samples connected to human blood.
+ Uses scientific techniques to assess bacterial samples.
+ Designs experiments to investigate bacterial growth variables based on knowledge/experience of bacterial physiology.
+ Works directly with internal group when needed for formulation, antibiotics, buffers, solvents and diluents.
+ Performs documentation related to product development and support, including experimental planning and execution as well as creation of detailed documents.
