Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support a large food service organization in New York, New York. This Long-term Contract position is well suited for someone with strong reconciliation experience who can manage core accounting activities with accuracy and consistency. The ideal candidate brings advanced Excel capabilities and can contribute effectively in a fast-paced environment while helping maintain reliable financial records.

Responsibilities:
• Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve outstanding items in a timely manner.
• Prepare, review, and maintain supporting schedules to ensure account balances are accurate and properly documented.
• Assist with month-end accounting activities, including journal entries, balance sheet analysis, and account close support.
