Staff Accountant

Description The Staff Accountant will support the day-to-day accounting operations of the organization and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reconciliations, assisting with month-end close, and supporting financial reporting activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to grow within a collaborative finance team.

Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain general ledger account reconciliations
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation
Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
Support preparation of monthly financial reports and variance analyses
Maintain fixed asset schedules and related accounting records
Assist with annual audit preparation and requests from external auditors
