Staff Backend Engineer

The AI engineers are building the brains — you’ll architect the nervous system. You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with AI engineers, product designers, and founders to ship modular, scalable, battle-tested backend systems that power autonomous agents in enterprise environments. • Design, build, and scale backend systems powering AI orchestration engines (APIs, state management, async job queues, task planners).
• Integrate LLM-based agents, RAG pipelines, vector stores, and multi-agent orchestration tools.
• Build platform capabilities including: Agent identity management & secure credentials; Agent task routing and lifecycle management (e.g., Temporal); Modular plugin and tool-execution infrastructure; Own API and service architecture for frontend apps, third-party APIs, and enterprise clients.
