Cenovus is currently looking for a Staff Geologist to join our Conventional Heavy Oil team located in the Calgary office. Reporting to the Alberta Geoscience Manager, Conventional Heavy Oil, the senior geologist will work in a multi‑disciplinary team to ensure reservoir development plans are optimized to meet Cenovus business needs, enable the successful execution of development plans, and support our long‑term strategy.

What you’ll do

• Conduct geological evaluations using core data, well logs, drilling, and production information to identify and mature new drilling prospects.
• Provide technical insights and recommendations to support project strategies and development decisions.
• Prepare and present technical recommendations and project updates to leadership through formal review processes.
