Opportunity Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Comply with approved standards of nursing practices.
- Provide nursing services requiring substantial and specialised nursing skills.
- Work closely with the resident’s doctor and the multi-disciplinary team to provide care to the residents; update on changes in the residents' conditions and needs.
- Ensure care delivery and nursing interventions as outlined in the care plan.
- Evaluate the resident’s response to care interventions on a regular basis and recommend revision of care plans as necessary.
- Initiate appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures.
- Carry out and supervise assessments of all new admissions.
- Prepare clinical documentation and ensure all documentations are accurate.
- Prepare and administer medications to residents. Supervise staff to ensure safe medication practices.
- Responsible for the safe keeping of controlled drugs.
