Staff Pharmacist

The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for the day-to-day operational duties associated with the dispensing of prescription medication as required to meet the needs of a long-term/post-acute care pharmacy. The Staff Pharmacist must adhere to the company’s quality and customer service standards, policies and procedures, as well as the State and Federal guidelines.

• Verification for completeness and accuracy of all new and refill labels and orders. Check for content and accuracy of all medication packaging and labeling, including emergency drug kits and IV medications
• Maintain resident database to include appropriate current and past medical history, appropriate clinical and laboratory data, and concurrent medication (including OTC and home remedies)
