Opportunity Description
Our client, a Clinical company, is looking for a Staff Pharmacist for their Lewisville, TX location. Responsibilities:
+ Responsible for the day-to-day pharmaceutical care and management of patients
+ Supervises Pharmacy Technicians to ensure the compliant and efficient operations of the pharmacy.
+ Checks all work of Pharmacy Technicians in line with State Boards of Pharmacy regulations and provides guidance on complex prescriptions, pharmacy automation systems, orders, and other issues.
+ Interacts with patients, health care providers, clinics, and prescribers involved with the patient
+ Review prescriptions prior to dispensing and verify all questionable prescriptions
+ Ensure appropriate storage of products in the facility and compliance with all laws, regulations, and accrediting agencies (e.g. NABP) standards
+ Maintain the required number of continuing education credits to maintain credentials as required...
