Staff Software Engineer (LLM & NLP)

About the Role Tyco Electronics Singapore Pte Ltd (TE Connectivity) is seeking a Staff Engineer to join its newly formed AI Hub within the Corporate R&D Center in Singapore. This role involves collaborating with R&D peers, business unit partners, and external research centers to embed AI into TE’s design and process development workflows. The primary focus will be on Large Language Model applications to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and decrease time to market within the New Product Development process as part of TE's Digitalization strategy.
Job Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality Large Language Model-based information science solutions and AI/ML infrastructure to support new product development (NPD).
Develop or adopt innovative AI techniques using in-house coding tools or commercial software, and create machine learning algorithms for search and synthesis of internal and external data.
