Summary
/Objective: The stamping technician is responsible for the daily set-up, running and maintenance repair of Samtec’s high speed, progressive stamping dies in a fast-moving production environment.
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:
Must be a self-starter and a good time manager who displays a sense of urgency.Use experience and training to identify tooling wear anddesign flaws for optimal quality, performance, and uptime.Comfortable working with tolerances of .0003” or even less in some cases. Comfortable using precision gauges and understand toolmaker principles for precision measurements.
