Accountable for providing professional nursing care to patients within a hospital unit, adhering to hospital policies and nursing services principles, policies, and procedures to ensure high‑quality care is practiced.

2) JOB DESCRIPTION

Organisation & Management – Operation Theatre

Adherence to nursing vision, mission, goals and objectives, aligns with the scope of nursing services, and performs shift duties as assigned by the Unit Manager to ensure high‑quality care. Notifies the Unit Manager of any changes in the situation that could impact the standards of care. Collaborates with the Unit Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the Operation Theatre (OT) and Central Sterile Supply Services (CSSS) daily.

Provides the operating‑theatre room ready for use by checking the completion of damp dusting, verifying the gas supply in the anæsthetic machine cylinder, and preparing trolleys and standby items for use. Collabo...
