Store Worker (Forklift Operator)

Summary About the Position: This position is with the Defense Commissary Agency Europe, located in Menwith Hill, UK. The primary purpose of the position is to perform duties of a Store Worker (Fork Lift Operator). Work in one or more of the departments within the store and perform a variety of duties involved in receiving, handling, marking, preparing, displaying, and maintaining the stock levels of resale items. Work involves the operation of an electric, diesel, or gasoline powered fork lift. Responsibilities Organize proper display areas for merchandise within the commissary. Receive supplies, equipment, and perishable, semi-perishable, and non-perishable resale items in the receiving area of the commissary. Verify shipments by checking the shipping documents, identifying any obvious spoilage, damage, overages, or shortages and reports any differences.
