Story Summer School 2026- Week 1 – Eastern Region

This summer, Story Contracting invites you to step inside the world of STEM and explore the huge variety of careers that bring construction projects to life.

Our Summer School Work Experience Monday 29 June – Thursday 2 July in Middlesbrough gives students in Year 12 the chance to discover roles across the whole industry — from engineering and project management to business support, digital, environmental, people-focused roles and more. You’ll take part in hands-on challenges and explore how different teams work together to deliver major projects.

Throughout the week, you will:

• Take part in practical activities and real problem‑solving challenges
• Work with teams across departments such as engineering, project management, finance, health & safety, HR, and other key areas that keep our projects moving
