Strategic Finance Associate

The Team & The Role

As a Strategic Finance Associate you will be part of our Finance Team and work closely with the Partnerships and Product teams, to make sure Plum is in good financial health and well prepared for scale!

Typical areas of focus will include: partnering with functional owners, evaluating growth initiatives, financial analysis, business case modeling, unit economics analysis and investor relations. The role will fit someone who is proactive, hands on, analytical and curious about how to build a business sustainably.

What You Will Do

• Partner with the business (in particular product and marketing / growth) to make sure we prioritising the right initiatives.
• Evaluate the economics and pricing for potential initiatives.
• Build and own financial models, including scenario and in-depth ad‑hoc analysis.
• Use AI to drive analysis and insight faster (our team now uses Claude Code on a daily basis).
