The Role

The Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle (LFCG) is an all-through (3‑18 years old) school, comprising four primary schools and one secondary school spread over four sites. Current enrolment figure stands above 3500 pupils. The Lycée is seeking to appoint a caring, approachable and emotionally‑aware Student Counsellor to join its Wellbeing Team.

The Student Counsellor will provide emotional support and early wellbeing interventions for students across the secondary school and primary schools, helping pupils navigate personal, emotional, social and school‑related difficulties within a safe, supportive and student‑centred environment. The postholder will also offer a visible, accessible and confidential listening service where students can seek support, guidance and early intervention in relation to their emotional wellbeing and school experience.
