Student Dental Nurse

We are looking for 6 student dental nurses to join us who are dedicated and committed people who will work towards the National Examining Board for Dental Nurses (NEBDN) in the Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing (RQF).

Responsibilities

• Assisting the dental staff to reassure and inform the patient of further treatment and appointments.
• Being aware of language and culture issues and dealing with these in a sensitive manner.
• Preparing dental materials, instruments, and equipment for each clinic and cleaning used items at the end of each session in a safe and competent manner.
• Assisting with the treatment of patients in accordance with all Trust policies.
• When appropriate, assisting patients receiving Regional Analgesia, Intravenous Sedation or General Anaesthetic treatment and providing pre‑ and post‑operative care.
