Student Nurse (Adult)

Overview

The RAF Student Nurse entry program prepares you to become an RAF Registered Nurse, providing direct nursing care in a range of clinical settings. The program includes basic training, undergraduate professional training, and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary healthcare to service personnel and families.
• Deliver secondary healthcare services.
• Assist with aeromedical evacuation (transfer of patients by air).

Requirements at a glance

• GCSE grade C/4‑5 (or equivalent) in Maths, English and science subjects.
• 120 UCAS points from higher education (not including predicted grades).
• Age 17 to 47 (must attest before 48th birthday).
• Meet nationality and residency criteria as set out by the RAF.
• Commit to a minimum of 12 years of service.
