SUBSTITUTE REGISTERED NURSE: 10-Month School Calendar Position
GST BOCES is looking for an RN substitute to care for the medical needs of students placed in a BOCES classroom located across our region. There are substituting opportunities in the Elmira, Horseheads, Bath, and Hornell areas.
+ Some students may require daily tube feeding
+ Assessment of students’ vital signs.
+ The employee must possess a valid NYS Nurse license.
+ Dispensing medications.
+ Helping students with daily living skills/hygiene
+ Following medical protocol
+ Students may need assistance with areas of daily living skills which may include, but are not limited to; toileting, personal care, feeding.
+ Other duties as assigned.
