Substitute School Nurse (RN)

The successful candidate will be child-centered and responsible for providing health care to students throughout the school day.

Responsibilities include:
+ Providing direct health services to students
+ Administering medications per physician's orders
+ Assessing illnesses and injuries and providing appropriate care
+ Responding to medical emergencies within the building
+ Supporting the health and safety of students, staff, and visitors





Job Qualifications
+ Current NYS Registered Nurse (RN) License required
+ Current CPR certification required
+ Strong knowledge of nursing principles, skills, and techniques
+ Ability to take initiative and work independently
+ Ability to remain calm in emergencies
+ Strong communication skills
+ Good moral character
