Supervisor Infusion Therapy

The Supervisor, Infusion Therapy, contributes to a multidisciplinary team with the focus on non-acute outpatient needs. The Supervisor, Infusion Therapy, demonstrates expertise in specialized IV therapy activities, including, but not limited to, administration of intravenous medications, including immunotherapy, insertion and care of peripheral devices and use and care of central venous catheters.

The Supervisor, Infusion Therapy, is responsible for overseeing the daily business activities of the department(s) and will assume other duties, including clinical duties within the scope of practice.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:


+ Working supervisor who will ensure efficient day-to-day operations by serving as primary point of contact

+ Perform, and have a working knowledge of all activities pertaining to patient registration, appointment scheduling and confirmation, as well as medical record maintenance
