POSITION SUMMARY
- A Value Stream Leader or Production Supervisor will be responsible for the overall safety, health, environment, quality, service, cost productivity, and employee morale of assigned department. The Production Supervisor serves as a liaison to management on manufacturing, quality, process and engineering related issues. Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers, such as inspectors, assemblers, fabricators, machine, tool setters, test and other plant and system operators. A successful Supervisor can anticipate and adapt to change and make the required adjustments to schedules. A successful Supervisor promotes two-way communication, fosters organization culture and values, assess operators’ performance and develop them, and seeks for continues improvement in his/hers work area.
