Our client has an opening for Supervisor Scalehouse. This training role is designed for individuals aspiring to become hog buyers within the client's procurement operations. The position provides hands-on experience in livestock receiving at the plant, focusing on critical processes such as sorting, weighing, identifying, and penning hogs according to established segregation protocols. Trainees will work closely with experienced hog buyers in the field, gaining exposure to procurement programs, carcass merit evaluation, harvest sheet data, weight dock operations, and other essential buying procedures. Upon successful completion of the training program, candidates will be qualified to apply for full-time hog buyer positions.
